Product Description

A Persian-style shamshir with a 28 in (71 cm) curved carbon steel blade, a 6 in (15 cm) rosewood handle and an overall length of 34 in (86 cm). The deep curve that defines the shamshir is made for drawing cuts and gives the sword its elegant, sweeping profile. It comes sharpened; if you want it purely for display, we can supply it with an unsharpened edge on request. A leather scabbard is included, and a custom scabbard can be made on request. Carbon steel takes a keen edge but is not stainless: wipe the blade after handling and keep it lightly oiled. Please check your local laws before ordering.
